Electro-rock has always been more rebellious, but this is evolving. There is this cool recovery rock I stumbled across by Matt Soren that has a unique perspective on alternative rock. His project is a mix of industrial rock and the concept of overcoming addiction.
There are some songs at his site at www.inspiringrock.com. It looks like the songs are provisional while wrapping up official mixes. They sound really good to me but that’s just me. It is cool to see more music like this written particularly for addiction recovery in a more entertaining way from a person that has had the experience and is making an impact for others in addiction. Also It’s nice to have this type of synth-rock stemming from the industrial scene which is usually more archaic in nature. Very cool.
In addition, he has free downloads you can get from his music page and more in his members area which is all free. I also saw discounts, graphics, and other downloads. It will be exciting to see the album once it is finished. That’s my two cents!
