Owning a pet is more than just purchasing cute pet beds, dog feeders or cute small dog clothes or some other unnecessary pet accessory! A good dog requires a ton of love and structure paired with balance and a stable pet owner. Dont fret! Dog training need not make you crazy if you can trust your guts and follow what your heart asks you to do. This is what a good friend of mine, not a professional trainer, told me after he showed me the results of his easy dog training seminar to some collegues. I should probably call it a hunting dog training class because they are all hunting aficionados and have learned by instinct how to train their pets while they are out there doing what they do best.
The most interesting thing of owning a dog is training them to help you with menial tasks you do all day. This is more than just making sure you have the cutest pet keepsakes on the wall. But instead, you can show off if you are a work at home mom and you need an extra hand around, you can teach your pet for that specific function. Some dog owners raise responsible dogs who can follow more complex commands such as bring the newspaper or keep the kid entertained. Your pet is learning on his own just by watching and listening to you, anyway. Just keep your behavior consistent so that your dog can be trained to do a specific thing.
